The copy from this ads basically explaining that formula 1 is fighting against each other. Since fight usually means a battle or a war. And there are must be a winner and a loser in a fight. Yet, Formula 1, is all about speed and accuracy; who is the fastest, who is going to be the one that win and all. Hence, to win it, they need to speed up to the fastest speed they ever could have and fight between each other. Therefore, the fight begins, once it starts.
As for the visuals, the dragons are formed by the car’s emission. Dragons are known for their power. They had wings, they are fast and they like to fight. Just like formula 1, fast and have to fight. And it gives a wow impression to audiences. Thus, the visual and the message are related to each other.
The target market for this ads is for all Formula 1 fans that could not watch it directly.
For the improvement, we think that, since SKY is based on UK and Ireland, it will be better to change the dragons into something else, such as Cheetah or maybe Puma. Since dragon is giving an image for Asia and give no Europe-feels at all.
The differences that we found is instead of Formula 1, it gives a feeling of a very fierce competition.
